Sun salutations are often regarded as a powerful and energetic sequence in yoga.However, it is crucial to note that sun salutations are not just about the number of repetitions or the intensity of the movement; it is more about the correct alignment and breath synchronization that make sun salutations a transformative and holistic practice. Each movement in sun salutations is coordinated with inhales and exhales, which creates a rhythmical flow and helps in calming the mind. Practicing with proper breathing cues also enhances the flow of oxygen to the muscles, improves circulation, and detoxifies the body. While completing 108 rounds can be a meditative and transformative experience, it is not suitable for everyone. It takes around 90minutes to 3hour to practice 108 rounds of sun salutation.
