108 Sun Salutation!!!

Sun salutations are often regarded as a powerful and energetic sequence in yoga.However, it is crucial to note that sun salutations are not just about the number of repetitions or the intensity of the movement; it is more about the correct alignment and breath synchronization that make sun salutations a transformative and holistic practice. Each movement in sun salutations is coordinated with inhales and exhales, which creates a rhythmical flow and helps in calming the mind. Practicing with proper breathing cues also enhances the flow of oxygen to the muscles, improves circulation, and detoxifies the body. While completing 108 rounds can be a meditative and transformative experience, it is not suitable for everyone. It takes around 90minutes to 3hour to practice 108 rounds of sun salutation. So next time if you are doing it in your 45mins yoga class or by your own, SLOW DOWN! Below image is for breath reference.

I feel the same. Many a times whenever i come across people saying we can do 108 sun salutations and then when i see their postures, there is a huge difference. I would never encourage people to do more rounds with wrong alignments. Less rounds with correct alignments can give more effective results and also reduce the risk of unnecessary pains or injuries.
