You're the Vitamin-C to my Iron ๐Ÿ’ž

Eating foods rich in vitamin-C at the same time as you eat foods with iron, can help boost iron absorption from 50% to 70-80% ๐Ÿ”Ž Insufficient intake of vitamin-C is a leading cause of iron deficiency anaemia in expectant mothers! So if you are including natural iron ๐Ÿ›กsources in your diet like- green leafy vegetables, beets, dates, figs, livers, lean meats etc. make sure you're including sources of vitamin-C ๐ŸŒŠas well in your meals. Like- citrus fruits, red & orange vegetables, berries etc. So from now on make sureโœ… your meal has some sources of vitamin-C ๐Ÿ‘€as well!!
