A lot of times, we are tempted to skip shavasana. Somehow we let our minds trick us into saving the last 5-10mins of the class and jump into our daily routine (work, chores etc). However,my advice is always so to make sure that you don't skip it. Some days you may do less of postures but don't miss out on shavasana. Savasana might look like a nap at the end of your yoga practice. But it’s actually a fully conscious pose aimed at being awake, yet completely relaxed. This posture brings a deep, meditative state of rest, which may help in the repair of tissues and cells, and in releasing stress. It also gives time for the yoga asanas practice to sink in at a deeper level. Beneficial for those suffering from neurological problem, asthma, constipation, diabetes, It indigestion. It leaves you in a state of rejuvenation. So,next time you leave your mat only after shavasana! 😌
