Low calorie and high volume foods
During my weight loss,I switch to low calorie and high volume foods like rice, potatoes, watermelon, cucumbers and oranges as these foods are very high in volume, keep you full and are also lower in calories.
Such foods trick your mind into thinking that you're full and stop you from craving for unnecessary foods.
@Sonali Sachdeva @Asmita Saha @Sakina Hashmi @Abhilasha Sharma @Jessica Any more examples of high volume and low calorie foods?

All fruits and veggies which have a higher water content like spinach, guord vegetables, tomato, bell peppers, oranges, sweet lime etc are great options to include in the diet & step up the volume with minimum calorie count !
@Sonali Sachdeva thank you so much, will include these to increase the volume but at the same time keeping calories low Thanks for sharing this, very informative.

Hi @Aaryan ! Thanks for the tag. As @Sonali Sachdeva has rightfully mentioned, all of our regular colorful vegetables, all of fibrous fruits especially the citrus group falls under this. Except for these light snacks like- foxnuts, soups, salads, thin dals etc. can also be taken in comparatively higher amounts. But the trick here is to not exclude any major group of foods, even if they're moderate to high in calories for example - animal proteins, nuts & seeds, certain fruits etc. The more we avoid the higher their cravings will become & not only that we're risking getting nutrient deficiencies as well. Hence portion control is the correct answer. @Asmita Saha portion control is the key,but as a young adult especially as a boy, the hunger never seems to get satisfied 😅 Here's when the volume foods come and help 😄 @Aaryan I agree. The true meaning of portion control/management lies under what to take more & what to take less, it's as simple as that. So you've very well figured it out. @Asmita Saha thank you so much for your input, it's really informative and has helped me to learn so much through this community Shyft is better on the app
