While performing certain postures, your body can get introduced to muscle cramps that can vary in terms of severity. Muscle cramps may happen due to lack of awareness while moving in and moving out of the posture, lack of breathing which reduces range of motion, overstraining yourself, stiffness in the body, tight muscles and lack of hydration. How to relieve the pain? 1. Keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. 2. Go for some gentle stretches if the pain is not severe. 3. In case of severe pain:-a) Give rest to your body and allow your body to heal. b) Go for some gentle massage to the affected area. c) Go for hot and cold therapy. Using the towel dipping it in hot water and applying on the affected area. Simultaneously using another towel dipper in the cold water and applying on the affected area.Continue this for few days on a regular basis and see the magic. Try to be little more aware and careful from the next time. @Nasir just try this out.
