Trying to get rid of the packeted biscuits / sweets / chocolate bars your kids snack on every time - try this ! Home made nutty chocolate bars !! 2tbspn virgin coconut oil 10 pitted soft medjool dates (mashed with fork) 3/4 cup peanut butter 2 tbsps pumpkin seeds 2 tbsps sunflower seeds Handful of almonds and unsalted pistas - ground to powder 1 -2 cups roasted puff rice Dark choc - for final glazing Method . Mix all the ingredients, Gently knead till all well combined . Last add the puff rice . Line a baking tray with parchment paper . Press the mixture using the base of a greased katori (with coconut oil ) , melt chocolate and apply a layer on top . Freeze for 2hours . Cut into cubes and store in airtight container in the freezer for a month or refrigerator for a week My LO loved the bar. ๐ Itโs going to loved by adults too ๐ Note: 1 bar is calorie dense and rich with nuts and dried fruits - so make sure to portion size it to ur kids !!
