This fruit has multiple names: •Goldenberry •Cape gooseberry •Peruvian groundberry •Chinese Lantern •Psysalis fruit •Aztec berry In kolkata however it's locally called as Tepari fruit. 💡 This fruit not only has a magnificent orange color, but also it's a nutritional powerhouse- it has loads of vitamin A & C, calcium, dietary fibres & a fairly low glycemic index, meaning it's suitable for people with diabetes & other inflammatory conditions. 😋Now in terms of taste depending on the ripening it can be lightly sweet or tart. The inside is juicy & looks identical to cherry tomatoes, the taste somehow mimics pineapples. This fruit can be eaten raw or used in jams, jellies, sweet treats & as decorations. So I had these today for snacks & I loved them. What are these fruits called in your place❓ 🧐
