While genetics does play a role in hair growth, mindful eating is one of the few things which can boost the health and growth of your hair. 1) Include at least 2 servings of green leafy vegetables daily as they're packed with Vitamin A, folate, Vitamin C which promotes hair growth. 2) Nuts esp. almonds and walnuts are loaded with nutrients like Vitamin E, vitamin B, zinc and essential fatty acids all of which stimulate hair growth. 3) Sweet potatoes contain an abundance of vitamin A which helps in production of sebum and promotes the growth of hair. 4)Consume 2-3 servings of good quality protein like curd, eggs, sattu, chicken, fish etc. everyday. 5) Flaxseeds and chia seeds provide omega 3 fatty acids alongwith Vitamin E for hair growth. 6) Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower etc. are rich in folate which encourages hair growth..!
