Prenatal - baby related
What practices to do when baby's back has turned towards my spine, doctor suggested to do lunges & duck walks?
For encouraging the baby to somersault to an optimal (head down) position, the expecting mother can try these follwoing practices, where chest is lower than hip level:
1) supported bridge
2) wide knee tabletop with elbow support
3) supported extended puppy pose
4) downward dog.
It is also a good idea to prepare your spine with some hip standing hip rotations before beginning these exercises. Along with these, walking and relaxing in ""W"" leg seated position can be beneficial as well.
Having mentioned these practices, it is always a good idea to take help from a yoga or pregnancy expert who can guide through these practices in a safe way.
