Hey Suzanne with PCOS most of the time there is inflammation which restricts the space in the abdomen which creates gut issues. Also due to excess levels of LH and FSH can there is delayed movement of food in the Digestive tract, resulting in constipation

Priyanka, Lifestyle changes like sleep patterns, exercise, diet will help you regulate your PCOS hormones. Be consistent with the practice. Once these are regulated your menstrual cycle is good, you will start seeing improvement in your gut health

The human gut is home to nearly 100 trillion bacteria, some beneficial & others harmful. These together form the gut microbiome. This gut microbiome plays an important role in various metabolic activities in the body, including the regulation & production of hormones. Studies show, that a weaker gut microbiome( that is, poor gut health due to more number of unhealthy bacteria) can cause androgen levels to spike & also triggers insulin resistance. Both these factors are of key importance in resulting in PCOS. Also, PCOS is an inflammatory condition, so, to reverse its symptoms it will be helpful to introduce anti inflammatory foods & also work towards making the gut healthier ! 🙂🙂
