Iron rich food sources are of two types : 🥦Vegetarian sources have “ Non heme iron”, which is not easily absorbed by the body and generally require a vitamin C rich foods for better absorption . ( so always pair your veg with vitamin C rich foods ) 🍗Non vegetarian sources contain “Heme iron” which is easily absorbed on its own .
