Can buttermilk be consumed during winters?

I am big fan of buttermilk but sometimes feel that it doesn’t suit me in winters. Is there a reason behind that?

Hi Kritika! First of all it's a total myth that curd & buttermilk causes cold. If you're having these at room temperature they're extremely good sources of protein, calcium & probiotics. But since curd & buttermilk are naturally cold temperature foods, meaning they induce cooling down of your body taking them moderately will be your best bet!
