Hi Madhav! Yes there are such cases where weight gain is seen after starting insulin treatment. But the reason for weight gain is never insulin. If you're eating more calories after taking insulin, or not working out regularly, or taking unhealthy junk foods after taking insulin etc.you'll end up gaining weight naturally. Count your calories, do regular wirkouts & only take insulin as directed. It's a better idea to have a consultation with a nutritionist & have a personalized plan which can provide you with enough calories & balanced meals, that can work with the insulin treatment without you gaining weight.
