Breakfast is inevitably the most important meal of the day. After dinner breakfast is most of our first meal of the next day. Technically we are breaking the fast we have kept after the previous night's dinner, hence the name BREAK-FAST. At night our body's metabolism is usually the slowest. Taking a hefty breakfast after waking up, helps in kick starting the metabolism to an extent. Whereas skipping breakfast can cause:- •a slow metabolism •excess stomach acid production •low stamina & energy levels •impaired mental clarity •unwanted sleepiness & many more So making sure you're taking a complete & balanced meal in the morning, not only helps you to start your day on a healthy note but also helps in making your day more productive. So in short- "Eat your breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince & dinner like a pauper" - Adelle Davis
