Are there any foods that are an absolute no during pregnancy?
Have seen a lot of dos and don'ts online, getting a little confusing.
Avoid , alcohol, carbonated beverages, raw foods (like raw sushi, as chances of food poisoning increase), and raw salads or chutney (prepared outside) completely. When dining out make sure to eat in hygienic places and have freshly cooked warm meals. Avoid eating street food, chaat (prepare at home instead), lastly, limit intake of fried foods, sodium (biscuits/cakes/pickle/Chinese/ sauces), simple sugar and refined flour! Increase intake of fresh fruits, veggies, whole pulses, nuts, dairy and dairy products, egg and chicken. Make sure to have 3-4 Lt water daily
