Sitting long duration
Does sitting for long duration affect blood sugar numbers? I do work out for 1 hour approximately thrice every week. But hasn't seen much changes in my sugar levels.
Hi Madhav! Are you referring to your post meal sugar levels? Sitting for a long time after taking big meals can cause high sugar spikes. A great way to reduce PP sugar levels is to include some post meal walk after each main meal. Walking post meal for 10-15 minutes effectively lowers down high sugar levels that can be caused by the meal. But also make sure your meals are high in fibre, protein & low in refined carbs.
