I start my day with tea. And in the evening I like to have a cup of coffee.
Is that OK during pregnancy? I'm in my 22nd week.
Taking upto 200mg of caffeine per day is said to be safe in pregnancy. But how strong is your beverage that's a big factor here. Tea definitely has less caffeine than coffee, whereas green tea has an even lesser amount of caffeine. 1 cup of mild tea & 1 cup of mild coffee is ok to take per day. But do pair these with some snacks. Never take these in an empty stomach.
