Do's will be to- drink lots of water, cooked colorful vegetables, fruits, lots of low fat protein, complex carbs. Include some galactogauges like-jeera, methi seeds, spinach, makhana etc. Small frequent meals is the key. Don'ts will be- taking heavily spicy, oily food, fast/junk food, refined sweets, processed/pacakaged, frozen food. Too much tea/coffee, unhealthy fats etc.

The do’s and don’ts are individual specific, however, it is important to slowly reduce the amount of food intake once the child starts weaning. This will help in coming back to pre pregnancy weight as the caloric intake will reduce. Excess intake of calorie dense foods like laddoos, sugar, etc should be reduced.
