One Healthy Eating Habit a Day!

Consumed drumstick leaves as a form of poriyal (fry). Adding more of veggies or greens as a healthy eating habit for today! What is your eating habit looking like for today? It's also packed with antioxidants, substances that can protect cells from damage and may boost your immune system.

@Rajan Sure! I've prepared it in an easiest way possible. 1)Firstly, wash and drain the drumstick leaves. Get rid of all the thick sprigs. 2)In a pan add 1sp of coconut oil and splutter mustard seeds,urad daal,chana dal once they begin to pop add curry leaves,followed by the shallots/small onions and 2 dry chillies. Add salt.Saute them until the onions turn golden brown. 3)Now add in the drained leaves. Mix them well. 4)Cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes over a low flame. 5) Add grated coconut, combine them well and leave it to cook for 3-5mins.

@Rajan Yes you can use mustard oil.πŸ˜ƒ I have added coconut oil just because we like the flavour of it .

Looks yummy Nadiya. And, another variation is to make parathas adding finely chopped leaves with spices of choice while making the dough. Clubbed with a katori of curds, it forms a complete meal 😊😊
