I travelled to Alibaug some days back and tasted this traditional recipe known as Sol kadhi for the first time. Belonging to the Konkan region, it uses coconut milk, cumin seeds and green chilies, which gives it a lovely taste. Sol kadhi is known not just for its taste but also for the several health benefits it can impart. 1) It is an excellent antidote to acidity 2) It contains antioxidants that boost skin health during summers 3) It has a high presence of anthocyanin’s which is anti carcinogenic and also an anti aging agent 4) It is cooling in nature and cools the digestive system especially after eating spicy food. Have you tried this Sol kadhi ever ???
