Drinking Kokum juice helps to expel heat, reduce acidity and relieve sunstroke. Kokum juice also helps manage the blood sugar levels by increasing insulin secretion due to its anti-diabetic and antioxidant properties. Since Kokum is sour, it can negatively affect the gut if taken with milk. You should have a one-hour gap between the consumption of Kokum and milk. People who suffer from high BP should avoid taking Kokum in huge amounts.
