The 'muffin top' becomes apparent after significant body fat gain. There are no shortcuts to losing fat &body weight. Sharing few tips that helped me in my journey 1. Start by accepting you body - most important 2. Diet-Eat whatβs right for your body- the right time, quantity & type of food is important. Since yoga is effective in heightening mindfulness, you will get to the point where you can control what you eat despite not having any diet plan. 3. Yoga-Yoga can only help you in your goal of losing weight if you combine it with a healthy diet & lifestyle. Aside from learning the poses, frequency is important. If you want to lose weight, you have to commit to practicing it regularly. Discuss your goal with the trainer & include postures to tone the muscles in your daily practice. 4.Rest-Too little sleep raises cortisol level, which causes you to store more fat around your waist. Balance of rest & activity is imp. 5.Chalk out a proper plan with the calendar & set achievable goals.
