Let Me Explain What Exactly Is A Calorie Deficit In Simple Words 💡

On average a person burns about 1800 calories in a day without exercise. The average adult woman burns approx 1600-2400 calories/day, whereas an average adult man burns about 2000-3000 calories/day.📝 Except daily workouts, we burn calories even while breathing, sitting, standing, digesting food, laughing & even sleeping etc. 🔥 We get these calories to spend from our diet🍱 If the calorie intake (is equal to) = the calorie expenditure, the said person will be able to maintain their current weight 🕕 If the calorie intake (is more than)>the calorie expenditure, the said person will gain weight⬆️ If the calorie intake (is less than)<the calorie expenditure, the said person will lose weight⬇️ This is called CALORIE DEFICIT✅ If the calorie expenditure (is more than)> the calorie intake, the said person will also lose weight⬇️ A deficit of 500 kcal/day without any difficulty is usually safe to do, & helps in sustainable weight loss. 🚨 Consult with an expert before starting!
