Shavasana or Corpse pose is an important restorative posture ideal to end a yoga session with cause it brings a deep meditative state of rest to body & mind, helps you acknowledge the benefits from the previous postures, it helps in grounding, cultivating inner stillness and stability.
We are lying down yet we remain active and conscious.
Other than that it helps to remove fatigue, lower blood pressure, helps repair cells & tissues, over prolonged practice it helps to reduce your stress levels and promotes better sleep.
