Any tips on things to follow on a regular basis if a person has IBS?
Hi Pooja, having your meals on time is very important to avoid the symptoms from getting aggravated. Limiting the intake of tea/coffee and spices can help too. Since gut and brain are very closely connected, stress management is very important so as to prevent any triggers to gut issues.

Yes, rightly mentioned by Abhilasha. And in addition to this, it is important to closely monitor what you eat so as to understand which foods are creating the irritability & once recognized they can be totally withdrawn or used moderately, as per tolerance. Also, avoid spicy, oily, fried & processed food so that the gut is not over worked in digesting the same. Try to include a serving of curd daily( good bacteria) & watch carefully if it helps improve the symptoms. If yes, then continue
