Apple Ginger Chutney

Ingredients

ginger finely chopped (1 inch)

1/2 tablespoon chopped garlic

1/2 cup raisins

1 teaspoon lemon juice

salt to taste

1 tsp oil

2 grated apples

Method

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add ginger and garlic and sauté. Reduce heat, add raisins and sauté for a minute or till it puffs up.

Add grated apples and cook until the mixture thickens.

Add lemon juice and 1/4 tsp salt, mix and cook till it thickens.

Remove from heat, cool and serve or store in a jar.
