chicken porridge

14 Ingredients
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon ginger finely chopped
salt and black pepper powder to taste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
30 g chicken boneless breast
1/4 cup oats
1 egg white
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 green chilli finely chopped (optional)
1 garlic clove (crushed)
2-3 fresh coriander sprigs (finely chopped)
Cut chicken into small pieces
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, ginger, and garlic, and sauté for a minute
Add green chillies and chicken pieces and mix well
Then add oats, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, and salt and mix well
Add 2 cups of water and mix well
Cook till the chicken is done
Sprinkle the finely chopped coriander sprigs
Add onions and lemon juice to the pan and mix well
Add egg white and mix well, cook for 3-4 minutes
Transfer the porridge into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
