1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper powder

250 grams peeled ginger, coarsely chopped

250 grams jaggery

2 tsps ghee

Method

In a blender finely blend the ginger pieces without adding any water. Keep aside.

In a pan, warm the ghee.

To this, add ginger paste. Keep stirring on medium heat until the moisture evaporates.

Now add the jaggery & keep stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.

Now add the black pepper powder to it.

To check for the readiness of the candies, add a small drop of the mixture in water.

If it forms a semi-hard ball the mixture is done.

Pour this mixture on a flat, clean surface while it is hot.

Cut into small pieces.

Enjoy the candies after they've cooled down & hardened a bit.
