gobi aloo sabzi
A flavourful combination of tender cauliflower florets and potatoes cooked in a medley of aromatic spices and herbs.

pinch of hing
salt to taste
1 finely chopped green chilli
1 tsp jeera
1/2 tsp chaat masala (optional)
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
1 cup cauliflower florets
1 diced potato
1.5 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp haldi powder
2 tsps coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional)
2 chopped tomatoes
1 tsp garam masala (optional)
2-3 tbsps finely chopped coriander
Heat the oil in a kadai. Add the jeera seeds. As they begin to splutter, add the hing.
Now add the green chilli & ginger. Sautee for a few seconds.
Add the cauliflower, potato, haldi powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder & salt to taste.
Sautee for 3-4 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Now add the tomatoes & garam masala.
Add 2 Tbsps water. Cover with a lid. Cook for 5-10 minutes.
Stir occasionally, to ensure it does not burn.
Once cooked, add the chaat masala.
Garnish with fresh coriander
