450 g granulated white sugar
110 g butter
2-3 pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tin condensed milk (396 g)
150 ml milk
Add all ingredients in a non-stick pan and heat on medium flame. Mix well and allow the butter to melt.
Bring to a boil while stirring occasionally. As the mixture starts to bubble, lower the flame
Cook for 20 minutes, stirring continuously, till it reduces and thickens.
After approximately 25 minutes, the mixture will start changing color and will start leaving the sides of the pan. Turn off the flame.
Allow it to cool. Stir continuously until it thickens.
Now place this thick paste on a parchment paper. Cover it with another parchment paper and roll to the desired thickness.
Allow it to cool slightly. Cut into equal-sized pieces using a sharp knife.
Once completely cooled, separate the fudge cubes and store them in air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
