2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
salt to taste
250 gm mutton (washed and cleaned nicely)
1 tablespoon oil
1 medium onion chopped
1 tablespoon ginger grated
4 cloves garlic grated
1 medium tomato chopped
1-2 green chilli finely chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon garam masala (optional)
1 teaspoon cumin powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon chilli powder (optional)
½ teaspoon black pepper powder
In a pressure cooker, heat oil.
Add onion, ginger, garlic, and green chili. Saute till onions become transparent.
Add mutton, garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder chili powder, pepper powder, and salt.
Now roast the mutton on medium to high flame for 15 minutes till the pieces turn wheatish brown. Then add tomatoes and roast them for another 10 minutes.
Then add water mix well, secure the lid and pressure cook it.
Once done add coriander leaves. Mix well
Serve hot with rice or bread or salad of your choice.
