A simple and delicious mix of fresh crumbled paneer and powdered sugar with the flavor of orange – a mouth-watering combination.

1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4th cup orange pulp
1/2 tsp orange essence
few orange rinds julienned (optional, for garnishing)
1/2 lemon
2-litre full cream milk
In a kadhai boil the milk. Turn off the flame & add the lemon juice. Stir well until the milk curdles.
Take a clean cloth & place it over a bowl. Add the curdled milk ( chena) chunks to the cloth. Wash the chunks with cold water.
Squeeze the cloth well till all the water is out of the chena.
After making the Chena, take it in a bowl and knead it well until it turns soft.
Now add the powdered sugar, orange pulp & orange essence and combine well.
Take some in your palms & roll them into small balls and press a bit to make the sandesh.
Garnish with orange rinds.
