quinoa - carrot dosa
A nutritious winter twist, combining the goodness of quinoa and carrots into a crispy, flavorful delight.

salt to taste
1/2 cup unpolished quinoa
1/2 cup split urad dal (with skin)
1 tsp methidana seeds
2 medium red carrots
1/2 tsp oil/ghee (for each dosa)
Wash, rinse & soak the quinoa, urad dal & methidana overnight or for 5-6 hours.
Discard this water.
Shift into the grinder. Add coarsely chopped carrots.
Add fresh water (in small quantities) & grind till smooth.
Add salt to taste.
Pour a ladle full of the batter on a greased tawa.
Cover & cook till golden brown.
Apply some oil/ghee.
Enjoy with chutney/samba.r
