spinach almond soup

Ingredients

15-20 leaves of spinach

150 ml skimmed milk

2 tsp grated paneer

1/2 tsp lemon juice

2-3 soaked, peeled almonds( cut into thin slivers)

salt & pepper to taste

Method

Boil the spinach for 5-6 minutes

Strain and keep the water aside

Blend the spinach and put it to boil in a pan

Alternatively add the spinach water and milk to attain a semi thick consistency

Turn off the gas, add salt and pepper to taste

Add the lemon juice and grated paneer

Sprinkle the slivered almonds on top
