Attributes
pinch of salt
1.5 cups almond milk
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tbsp coconut sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tbsp dates syrup
1/2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp baking powder
In a bowl add 1 cup of milk, apple cider vinegar, and melted butter. Whisk them well together and keep the mixture aside for 5 minutes to ferment.
In another bowl add whole wheat flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, a pinch of salt, and cinnamon powder, and mix well.
Now, pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture and add vanilla essence. Mix it thoroughly.
Add the remaining milk to get the required medium-thick consistency.
Pre-heat the waffle maker before adding the batter to the maker.
Brush the waffle maker with olive oil. With the help of a ladle, add the batter to the waffle maker, close the lid and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
Once it turns golden-brown in color, remove the waffles. Plate them and cut them into the desired shapes.
Top it with date syrup and enjoy the waffle hot.
